Anna with the Cheap Monday hangar in the background…on a beautiful summer night in Sweden…she made the dress herself earlier in the day. How do you like her? x

It Girls – Paris and Ondine
New York it girls Paris and Ondine in the newly reopened Washington Square Park. Ondine is wearing American Apparel’s disco short…Paris’s romper is by Erin Wasson x RVCA from a selection at Barneys New York. They were on their way to a picnic in the park…don’t you wish we could have warm weather all the time?? xo eddie

Billionaires and Bohemians
Yesterday on Bleecker Street in the West Village…a perfectly chosen outfit for her surroundings. In the former home of bohemians and punks…and the current home of the very wealthy…a mixture of designer logos with a 60’s-inspired suede coat and punky slit leggings. It’s so interesting to me how our surroundings influence our fashion choices – both subconsciously and consciously. xx eddie
Easy…Breezy…Cover Girl
So are you going to take your look this summer in a mysterious and sexy direction…or maybe just be that breezily approachable gal-next-door? Eh, it’s summer – who can be bothered to make wardrobe decisions? Save the heavy fashion dilemmas for the fall and just get yourself a big ol’ floppy hat. City meets beach, breezy meets sexy, and you’re suddenly the chicest girl at the BBQ. I hung out with Michelle today in Chinatown…xxx

Zip It
The phrase “the next Kate Moss” gets thrown around a bit too often if you ask me. Zippora however could actually be the real deal. I don’t know if she’s fleeing the controversy that seems to surround her in her native New Zealand and nearby Australia (feel free to Google that at your leisure)…but for the time being you can find her wandering around Williamsburg on the odd sunny afternoon. She was recently repping this acid-techno-hippie-meets-Kiwi-wood nymph look that had me thinking of European summer music festivals and people dancing in open fields. Sheer lunacy… xo eddie

Summer Girls – Kaylee and Michelle
I met up with Kaylee and Michelle when I was at the Coachella festival recently. After shooting their photos, I knew I wanted to pull the pics out of the Coachella pile and do a separate post with them – so here they are. I love Kaylee’s little poly/silk tap pants with suspenders and Michelle’s wide leather belt and black sheer thigh-highs. They get the details right too – like the tissue-thinness of Kaylee’s tank top and Michelle’s piled-on gold bracelets. It doesn’t hurt that they are both stunners either, now does it? xx eddie

California Girl
Hey – here’s the photos I shot of Karla from karlascloset when I was in L.A. recently! She’s not only adorable but she’s sweet as sugar as well…and did you hear her voice in the video from my last post?! I mean they broke the mold with this one. She is precious! xx eddie

Kimi’s Desert Dance
Hey Kimi – I love that you took a fuschia dress/nightie from Victoria’s Secret and rocked it up early 90’s rave style with a big sideways floral baseball cap and tie-dyed wife beater underneath and then went and danced at the Anthem party. I might put some photos of you on my blog if that’s okay with you? Let me know. xo eddie

The Black Rose Of Soho
Hi there – so in my last post – concerning Spring looks on the street in New York – someone left a comment essentially saying that “black is not a very Spring-ish color”. Well, first of all, they are right. It’s not very Spring-ish, is it? On the other hand though, black is a year-round color these days – especially in urban fashion capitals like New York and Paris and Stockholm. Fashionable New Yorkers will change their choice of fabric and their hemlines and lose some layers as warm weather approaches…but tossing out the dark colors from their wardrobes? Not so much. So in an attempt to brighten the darkness, here’s Ashley wearing a neon-bright floral babydoll. I ran into her while she was out shopping downtown. I actually love color…but my favorite bits of her outfit are her sheer black patterned tights and especially her vintage black ceramic rose bracelet. Black flowers…it must be Spring in New York. xx eddie
