Best Cuban restaurant – authentic atmosphere: El Palacio De Los Jugos
Best party scene – posh: a tie between the Vanity Fair party at the Raleigh pool and the Colette party at the pop-up Le Baron that took over the Florida Room at the Delano
Best party scene – hipster: the Deitch Projects-hosted parking lot party at the O.H.W.O.W. space in Wynwood
Best muses: Fifi and SJB
Best personal theme song: “Dear Miami” by Roisin Murphy
Best satellite art tent: Scope
Best support for the notion that contemporary art is a scam: the Art Positions
Best it-might-be-a-scam-but-I-still-wish-I could-afford-one-of-these: a tie between the huge, paint-splattered/silk-screened/computer-scanned/Warhol-referencing pop collages from Mr. Brainwash and the similarly Warhol-esque silkscreens by Russell Young which feature the face of Kate Moss superimposed over the mugshot photo of Myra Hindley…
