Summer Love from LA to NYC
It’s finally summer after months of being wrapped up in jackets and umbrellas overhead. You can rejoice and finally peel down out of the layers. Soon summer turns into a heatwave, the heat is unbearable. What do you wear in such weather? From New York to LA a few girls are out and enjoying the weather in cool comfortable clothes. - Pete

Summer Girls - Kaylee and Michelle
I met up with Kaylee and Michelle when I was at the Coachella festival recently. After shooting their photos, I knew I wanted to pull the pics out of the Coachella pile and do a separate post with them - so here they are. I love Kaylee’s little poly/silk tap pants with suspenders and Michelle’s wide leather belt and black sheer thigh-highs. They get the details right too - like the tissue-thinness of Kaylee’s tank top and Michelle’s piled-on gold bracelets. It doesn’t hurt that they are both stunners either, now does it? xx eddie

California Girl
Hey - here’s the photos I shot of Karla from karlascloset when I was in L.A. recently! She’s not only adorable but she’s sweet as sugar as well…and did you hear her voice in the video from my last post?! I mean they broke the mold with this one. She is precious! xx eddie

Out Of The Closet
Hey - I was in L.A. for a bit before and after Sydney. While I was there, I shot a little interview with Karla from karlascloset! I made a stylesightingsTV Youtube channel today - more videos coming soon. I hope you guys like it! xx eddie
It Never Rains In Southern California
Hey there - it’s Eddie here. I stopped by LAX briefly yesterday and took a little 15 hour flight - more about that soon. I really love southern California though. Los Angeles and the surrounding area are like a case study for the ways in which environment affects mood. It really is like an endless summer out there and you find yourself wanting to do everything outdoors. Due largely to the constant sunshine, L.A. fashion has a reputation for being super casual…and it is…to a point. In my experience though, many Angelenos have an almost hardcore approach to casual style. It’s not, “Oh well, it’s warm today so I’ll just throw on this old t-shirt and some flip-flops”…it’s more like, “These might just be denim shorts but they’re the most amazing Egyptian cotton, Japanese vintage-loomed, hand-distressed denim shorts anyone has ever seen.” Show me a table of great vintage cowboy boots at the Rose Bowl flea market and I’ll show you some Angelenos with the same lustful look in their eyes as a Parisian fashion editor would have when she’s eyeing a $5,000 Ric Owens jacket. They’re really serious about being really casual. All of which is a roundabout way of saying…before we move on to something else, here’s a load of photos I shot at the Coachella festival…check out all the cute spring and summer looks…seriously! xx
