Hey – it’s Eddie here. Yeah I’m in Stockholm for Fashion Week by Berns at the moment. I saw cool shows yesterday from Dagmar, The Local Firm, and Cheap Monday. Cheap Monday – with new creative director Ann-Sofie Back – put on the biggest show of the day by far. (More about that later.) Today and tonight are less about shows, more about presentations and store openings and parties. Here are some of my shots so far…xx

So, how’s your Swedish? I’ve noticed that, other than the subjects themselves, there’s usually no-one else around for miles in the pics. Is this by design, or does it just work out that way?

Hi Theo – my Swedish is horrible, thank you. (Saying “tack” when the girl at my Pressbyran hands me my change doesn’t count – sorry.)
The no one else around for miles thing – this is on purpose. It can be quite time consuming when shooting in a congested area to get this effect. (The main venue for Stockholm Berns week for example is in center city and near a popular park – so there are loads of tourists and office workers out and about.)

Last 3 photos are the model street team for the Minimarket label. Instead of doing a show this season, they just dressed models in the new collection and had them show up at various venues and events during the week. Great idea!
