Oh, hey there – it’s Eddie. You know, over the weekend the MisShapes did one of their one-off parties at Santa’s Party House and I think everyone I know in New York was there. Let’s see – I ran into Kenzo Minami, Justine D., Spencer Product, Brenda, Cameron, Lady Lucy, Benjamin Cho, Lightspeed Champion, Olivier Zahm, Lou Doillon, Caroline from Purple, Sophia Lamar (it was her birthday party), and of course Geordon, Greg, and Leigh (wearing a Nina Ricci dress and wide black patent belt by Karl Lagerfeld) – and that was just in the first 30 minutes! I think it’s so important that they (the MisShapes) are throwing these parties occasionally because they are really the only parties in New York right now for the cool fashion kids. I mean, if you keep up with the latest music from London and New York, you read V magazine and self service, and you shop at Opening Ceremony and Seven – you would think that you would have multiple nightlife options in NYC…and you do…sort of. Still though, no one throws a better party for this crowd than the MisShapes and it’s nights like this that remind you why you live here instead of say, Atlanta. xoxo e.
