It seemed like everywhere I went in Paris and London last month I couldn’t swing a baguette without hitting someone wearing
Yves Klein blue. With more depth and richness - and just plain pop - than your average “royal” blue, this color looks fantastic when paired with black. It’s a great way to add a bit of juice to your “all black all the time” urban uniform. There was also something about the dull light of Europe in winter that caused this color to look positively electric when set against grey skies.

Owww!!!!! That blue rules! And you’re so right - it gives just the right pop to the standard black that so many of us love so well!

I agree! I love the blue! I have been on the hunt trying to find tights in that color ever since one of your pictures from Fashion Week but have not been successful…

I love this hue of blue. It seems your trendspotting is definitely on the money–a recent posting on Streetpeeper.com has a young lady donning a some shorts and a scarf in this striking Yves Klein blue color. I’m pulled to get something in this shade now!!

Yves Klein Blue is more well known as International Klein Blue or IKB. It was developed by French artist Yves Klein and was a central part of a lot of his later work.
