November 28th, 2007We always think of the contemporary art world as a source of inspiration here at Stylesight - so we were pleased but not surprised when quite a few designers decided to work contemporary art touches into their collections for Spring 2008. Modern art influences on RTW in the recent past seem to have fallen into a few predictable categories - graffiti and Pop Art influences ad nauseam. For Spring ‘08 however, the art world influences were both far more varied and incorporated in a more seamless fashion. See below for some of my favorite pieces that I found while looking at all of the runway photos on Stylesight.
