Angels With Dirty Faces
Hey – guess what? I’m still in L.A. and it’s still Fashion Week! Can you believe it?! Well, I was pinching myself when I arrived at the Jeremy Scott show – a reprise of his Parisian show from earlier this month. The theme or inspiration for this collection was “trash chic” or “industrial chic” with many of the models wearing hats that resembled a trash can lid. The theme was apparent in the show’s make-up as well with the models faces and bodies smeared with what appeared to be grime and grease. I have to hand it to Jeremy however because he somehow managed to make the girls look surprisingly chic, even with trash can lids on their heads! Take a look at my photos and I think you will agree…
After the show we headed to Jeremy’s afterparty at a small bar in Hollywood which soon reached capacity. Those who did make it inside were treated to an open bar, very cute crowd, and fun dance music from Chris Holmes and Stunners International – aka Brit party boys and models, Wade Crescent and David Lindwall. Seen at Jeremy’s show and/or party were Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port of The Hills (with third row seats at the show – ouch!), Cory Kennedy, Steve Aoki, and others. I had my camera with me of course, so have a butcher’s, won’t you?
