Christian Lacroix’s Hyères exhibit, by David Dubois and Christian Rizzo, is absolutely fabulous. Staged in the supposedly haunted Villa Noailles and featuring looks from Lacroix’s Fall/Winter 2007 collection, I’m in love love love with the creepy, co-dependent feel of the whole piece. It’s a rare treat to see looks from the Master of Maximalism in such a setting, another reason why the Hyères Festival is on my shortlist of things to do in 2008.
